Exis shortlisted for North East Business Awards in Innovation category

Exis Technologies has been shortlisted in the Innovation Award category of the Teesside heat of the North East Business Awards 2020, UK. The shortlist for the award consists of 3 companies based in the Teesside region of the North East of England, the winner of which will be announced at a virtual Teesside Business Awards ceremony on the evening of 3 September 2020.

The Innovation Award identifies and rewards companies which have launched the most innovative new product/service in the North East in the calendar year 2019. Judges will consider all aspects of an innovative new product/service launch, including research and development, launch activity and the actual or likely commercial success of the product/service.

The Exis entry is based on the newly launched Hazcheck Detect cargo scanning tool to detect misdeclared and undeclared dangerous goods in containerised shipments. Maersk are the first customer signed to the Hazcheck Detect solution.

If successful on 3 September Exis will then go onto the grand North East Business Awards final later in September with the winners from the other North East England regions Northumberland & Tyneside and Durham, Sunderland & South Tyneside.
