Product Overview
Hazcheck Inspections is a web-based container inspections database and access portal. It allows inspection companies to plan and enter details of cargo inspections completed on behalf of container or vessel operators. Container or vessel operators can login with secure access and view or download inspection results and/or analytics.
Consistent data is recorded and reported regardless of where and who records the inspection result. Non confidential data can be shared with partners and third parties, for example, the Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS).
Operators have the option to send cargo details to the inspection company so they can plan containers to select for inspection. Pre-entered planned data can be re-used when the inspections details are recorded. The system is supported by the roll out of a common inspection protocol to new users of the system to ensure common reporting.
National Cargo Bureau has recently launched remote container inspections. Their team of surveyors, with decades of experience, are now able to review and inspect CTUs remotely based on the material the client captures and uploads to the platform. Hazcheck Inspections was developed with Exis parent company National Cargo Bureau and has been used to help NCB with their Container Inspection Safety Initiative. This initiative revealed an alarming number of containers carried by sea including misdeclared cargoes that represent a serious safety risk to crew, vessel and the environment.
