Overview

Enhance safety and compliance in cargo operations with our CTUpack E-learning Courses, designed to help packers, loaders, and logistics professionals follow best practices when preparing containers for transport.

These courses are aligned with the IMO/ILO/UNECE CTU Code of Practice and support safe packing and securing of cargo into Cargo Transport Units (CTUs), particularly freight containers. With interactive content, real-world examples, and references to international regulations, learners gain both foundational knowledge and practical skills.

The CTU Code is a joint Code of Practice developed by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE).

The courses provide comprehensive information and references on all aspects of loading, securing, and handling cargo in cargo transport units (CTUs) as well as on flat rack containers. They take into account the requirements of all sea and land transport modes and apply to operations throughout the entire intermodal transport chain. The content offers guidance not only to those responsible for packing, securing, and lashing cargo—whether inside CTUs or on flat racks—but also to those who receive and unpack such units. It further addresses essential topics such as training requirements and the handling and packing of dangerous goods.

Currently we have the following courses available in this series. Click on the links below for further information.
