Product Overview
The Dangerous Goods Transport General Awareness course caters to individuals seeking comprehensive understanding of dangerous goods transport regulations. It aims to provide awareness of the duties that arise from these regulations.
The course fully meets the awareness training requirements outlined in 1.3.1.2.1 of the IMDG Code, 1.3.2.1 of the ADR Agreement, and RID Regulations. Additionally, it highlights requirements in air transport regulations and the 49 CFR domestic dangerous goods regulations.
This course caters specifically to warehouse personnel, clerical workers, administrators, managers, customer service representatives, and/or sales personnel. It is also beneficial for others who have limited direct involvement in dangerous goods shipping or transport activities but need a general appreciation of the regulations.

Dangerous goods transport legislation
Classification and identification
Consignment and transport procedures
The journey rules – operational consideration
Emergency response issues
There is an assessment at the end of the course. The assessment takes place once all course content has been thoroughly reviewed. Additionally, there is a course completion dangerous goods awareness certificate available.
