Ocean Network Express (ONE) was incepted on July 7, 2017 following the liner service integrations of Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” LINE), Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK). The new entity functions from its global headquarters in Singapore, supported by regional headquarters in Hong Kong, Singapore, the United Kingdom, the United States and Brazil.
ONE is the world’s sixth largest container carrier with a fleet size of approximately 1.5 million TEU. Operating more than 240 vessels, it offers an expeditious and a reliable international network of over 85 services to 120 countries and beyond. ONE is a member of THE Alliance (THEA), a global ocean carrier consortium.
ONE uses the Hazcheck Web Service, Hazcheck Gateway and Hazcheck IMDG for Intranet in their dangerous goods shipping activities. They also train their staff with IMDG Code e-learning courses.
Hazcheck Web Service – is a web API version of Hazcheck Toolkits, DG databases and a library of routines for incorporation into cargo booking, handling, ERP and planning systems (for example, SAP and Oracle EBS). These provide dangerous goods validation functionality for integration into an existing or planned system or product.
Hazcheck MDG for Intranet is for organisations requiring the Amendment 40-20 IMDG Code to be available throughout their global operations, hosted on their own intranet server.
IMDG Code e-learning is a cost-effective online training tool for all shore side staff involved in the handling and transport of dangerous goods by sea. It gives high quality training that complies with both the general awareness and function specific training requirements in the IMDG Code.
